Think You Know Tung Chung?

Description:

Tung Chung is not foreign to anyone; but aside from its proximity to the airport, how much do you really know about the neighbourhood? Residents of Tung Chung enjoy a remarkably convenient life, with direct access to the city centre in just half an hour. It's a stone's throw away from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, while the nearby North Lantau Highway connects directly to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. The upcoming Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link will offer seamless access to the Northern Metropolis. The phased completion of new neighbourhoods and Hong Kong's expansion will surely mark the dawn of a new chapter for Tung Chung.

Jarvis and three hosts took audiences on a 10-part, 2-minute journey exploring the neighbourhood in "Think You Know Tung Chung?". Featuring a blend of urban and rural life, the show explored Tung Chung's many shopping destinations, scenic spots, the newly completed Tung Chung East Promenade and villages. The hosts even demonstrated the neighbourhood's accessible transportation options and its advantage as an airport city. They relished in the tales told by the chairman of the Rural Committee and Tung Chung locals. The finale of the show featured Secretary for Development Bernadette Linn Hon Ho JP, who shared her aspirations for Tung Chung's future.
